Version 0.11 - MIDI Input, Transposable Exercises, Scale History, Modes...
ScaleGhost » Devlog
New in 0.11:
- MIDI input via USB: You can connect a MIDI keyboard to use the in-app piano sound and/or control the scale root in Scale mode. See the in-app tutorial for more information.
- Transposable Exercises: Two different transposing modes are now available. In the default mode, transposing changes the pitch of the backing track and adjusts the displayed scale and timeline (where applicable) to a new key. In Pseudo mode, the backing track audio remains in its original key. This mode can be used with your keyboard's transpose function to practice different fingerings without sacrificing the backing track’s audio quality. When using Pseudo mode with the in-app piano sound, MIDI input will automatically transpose to match the transposed overlay patterns. See the in-app tutorial for more information.
- Scale browsing history makes it easier to switch between and/or compare scales.
- Modes of any scale can now be derived automatically.
- Added buttons for sorting custom scale degrees and copying degrees from the currently displayed scale image (the "Get from image" button in Scale builder).
- You can now reset app data in Options by resetting settings or clearing app user data, effectively restoring the app to a freshly installed state.
- Minor bug fixes & tweaks.
