• Fixed a threading conflict issue that occasionally caused crashes when using a MIDI keyboard.
• Fixed a bug that caused sound glitches and potential crashes when using Pseudo Transpose with the in-app piano sound.
• Added a new MIDI control feature: Change mode w/ root.
• The in-app piano sound polyphony limit in Options can now be set to 0 (polyphony limit OFF). By default, it is set to 0 for fresh installs. If you experience worse-than-usual audio issues with the in-app piano sound, try setting the polyphony to a low number and see if that helps.

The Change mode w/ root feature allows you to use your MIDI keyboard to control the display of modes of a scale while staying in the same key. For example, if you select the C minor scale and then play a D note, the app will display a scale starting from D while remaining in the key of C minor. This feature can be used to explore intervallic relationships within a scale, making it easier to figure out chords and scales in a key. Highlighting and color-coding can help make patterns easier to spot (Options → Change colors). The feature works with both MIDI root input methods.
